At approximately 11am on November 20, 2017, Wicomico Central alerted Sharptown Vol. Fire Department, along with Mardela Vol. Fire Dept., Hebron Vol. Fire Dept. and Laurel Fire Department for a garage fire on San Domingo Rd. While enroute units were informed that it was a working fire. Engine Tanker 14 arrived on scene to find a garage fully involved with extension into the end of the house. Firefighters pulled two lines and quickly knocked down the fire. The situation was placed under control approximately 13 minutes after firefighters arrived.

Structure Fire – Fourth St.
At 0251 Hours on Dec 5, 2011, Sharptown Fire Department, along with Station 81 Laurel and Station 9 Mardela were alerted for a structure fire at 708 Fourth Street. Crews arrived to find a garage fully involved with multiple exposures. The situation was placed under control at 0306 hours and all units cleared at 0553 Hours. Rollover on Old Sharptown Rd
On January 24th, just after 10PM, Wicomico Central alerted Sharptown Fire Dept. of an accident with rollover on Old Sharptown Rd. Fire and EMS crews arrived to find a vehicle into a pole and the occupant out of the vehicle. Old Sharptown Rd. was closed off during the incident.
