Assist Mardela with Brush Fire

At 0251 Hours on Dec 5, 2011, Sharptown Fire Department, along with Station 81 Laurel and Station 9 Mardela were alerted for a structure fire at 708 Fourth Street. Crews arrived to find a garage fully involved with multiple exposures.  The situation was placed under control at 0306 hours and all units cleared at 0553 Hours.  The fire marshalls office was called and the home next to the blaze suffered heavy damage to the siding. Just before 7PM on March 13, Wicomico Central alerted Station 14 Sharptown for a overturned tractor trailer on the Sharptown Bypass in the area of Main St. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a feed truck on its side. Crews from Amick came to remove the feed from the trailer and the road, along with crew's from Carey's Towing to upright the truck. Crews were on scene until approximately 10PM.
