On Jan 27 at approximately 7PM, Sharptown Vol. Fire Dept. was alerted to assist Laurel Fire Department with a 3 alarm fire at the Rigby Hotel. Fire crews from multiple companied from Sussex, Wicomico and Dorchester Counties were on scene all night into the morning.
While the extreme makeover team was working in San Domingo to help the Johnson-Goslee family, the Sharptown Fire Department provided 24 hour EMS coverage.
