On Jan 27 at approximately 7PM, Sharptown Vol. Fire Dept. was alerted to assist Laurel Fire Department with a 3 alarm fire at the Rigby Hotel. Fire crews from multiple companied from Sussex, Wicomico and Dorchester Counties were on scene all night into the morning.
On Oct 22, The Sharptown Volunteer Fire Department provided a overnight Fire and EMS standby so the Delmar Fire Department members could enjoy their Annual Dinner.
