Sharptown Fire Department is having a busy start to the 2018 year. In the first week we have been alerted to assist Laurel and Mardela on house fires, Eldorado on a natural cover fire, and have had several EMS/Medical Assist calls. We have also been to Seaford and Laurel Fire Departments on Standby.

Sharptown Assist Cambridge on a Water Rescue
Just after 5PM, Wicomico Central alerted Sharptown to assist with a water rescue in Cambridge in the Choptank River. Squad 14 with 5 divers onboard along with Utility 14 pulling Marine 14 responded. Crews were on scene for approximately 2 hours before returning to service.
