Assist Eldorado with a House Fire

Around 11am on January 18, Stations 9 (Mardela), 5 (Hebron), and 14 (Sharptown) were alerted for a building fire at the corner of Main St. and Bridge St in Mardela. Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from the building. Engine Tanker 1402 and Engine 1404 both responded to assist.  A draft was setup at the boat ramp in Mardela. Additional crews were called in from Delmar and Linkwood. Blades was called for a cover-up in Sharptown and was called to the scene to assist. Crews were on scene for appoximately 3 hours. On October 9th, just before 5:30PM,Wicomico Central alerted Sharptown Fire Dept. of a accident with rollover on Norris Twilley Rd. Firefighters and EMS arrived to find a single vehicle on its roof, with the occupant out of the vehicle. Firefighters stabilized the vehicle while EMS personnel checked out the patient and obtained a refusal. Units cleared the scene by 6PM.   [singlepic id=133 w=320 h=240 float=center]
