Having a busy start to 2018

On April 2 just after midnight, Wicomico Central alerted Stations 74 Delmar, Station 5 Hebron, and Station 14 Sharptown of a working garage fire on Waller Rd. just outside of Delmar. Command arrived on scene to find a fully involved garage. Crews immediately put 2 hand lines in service and were able to quickly get the fire under control. Around 11am on January 18, Stations 9 (Mardela), 5 (Hebron), and 14 (Sharptown) were alerted for a building fire at the corner of Main St. and Bridge St in Mardela. Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from the building. Engine Tanker 1402 and Engine 1404 both responded to assist.  A draft was setup at the boat ramp in Mardela. Additional crews were called in from Delmar and Linkwood. Blades was called for a cover-up in Sharptown and was called to the scene to assist. Crews were on scene for appoximately 3 hours.
